Warming Spice Mix Recipe
Although the spring weather can be beautiful, it can also turn damp and cold. Our nutritionist put together a warming and circulatory system stimulating spice blend to help combat the those rainy days, and we wanted to share it with you.
This blend can be taken on its own as a supplement or used as a seasoning mix for cooking. It tastes fiery, earthy, and is perfect for seasoning chicken or potato wedges.
Please note that those of you using cayenne powder which was not purchased from us may need to increase the amount used, as our cayenne is extremely potent, and the recipe ratios reflect that.
You will need the following ingredients:
1 tsp powdered hawthorn berries
1/8 tsp cayenne powder
1 tsp cinnamon powder
1 tsp cumin powder
Combine and enjoy! As with most herbs, this spice blend will be best if stored in an airtight jar and kept in a cool place away from sunlight.
