Tulsi/Holy Basil Roasted Cashews Recipe

Toasted tulsi cashews are the perfect snack for taking to work or school. The seasoning dries down beautifully once baked, saving your fingers from becoming sticky while on the go.

 

With a minimal ingredients list, this savory treat can be ready to enjoy in as little as 20 minutes.

 

You will need the following:

 

1 tbsp dried tulsi/holy basil

1 cup raw cashews

2 tsp lemon juice

1 tsp vegetable oil

1/8 tsp garlic powder

Salt and pepper to taste

 

Preheat oven to 350F. Using a coffee or spice grinder, powder the tulsi until it is finely ground. Next, add all ingredients, including tulsi powder, into a bowl and mix until cashews are evenly coated. Spread coated cashews across a baking sheet in a single layer, and roast for 15 minutes, or until lightly browned. Allow to cool before eating.
